Champagne Region: 15-17 September 2023

In June 2022 the Club visited Bordeaux for its eighteenth biennial wine tasting tour.
However some members find that our tours, which take place from a Monday to a Friday, intrude too much upon limited holiday entitlement.

So in 2023 the Club will be trialling a shorter-form tour, running from a Friday to a Sunday.
The inaugural weekend tour will visit Champagne, spending two nights in Reims, visiting Epernay from there.

Details of the tour can be found in the itinerary.

Further information about booking and timelines can be found in the chairman's letter to members.

To book, please complete the booking form and send to LoveWineFood directly using the details at the end of the form.

Bordeaux 2022

Chateau

Our eighteenth tour, to Bordeaux, had been postponed from June 2020 to 2021 due to Covid and finally happend 20-24 June 2022.

Guests spent two nights on the Left Bank and two nights in the beautiful city of Bordeaux itself.  The full itinerary can be found by clicking on the link below.

The tour was organised by Cindy-Marie Harvey, who had been involved in organising the Club's tours for many years, and who joined us on our previous tour to Porto & the Douro Valley. With 22 years of experience in designing and escorting wine tours to all the leading wine regions of the world, she has set up her own company, Love Wine Food Ltd., organising exclusive wine tours for private groups.

We were accompanied by the Wine Society’s Sebastian Payne MW as Wine Guide and Cindy-Marie as Tour Manager.
