This is something new and different!
Red Burgundy is generally light in colour, intensely fragrant, medium-bodied wine with a fruity, elegant palate redolent of cherries, with highish acidity and low levels of tannins. If Cabernet produces wines to appeal to the head, Pinot's charms are decidedly more sensual and more transparent.
I list below 14 Pinot Noir wines, and given what they cost, they should all be very good! Mostly over £20 and all 2009 or before.
There is a list of countries from where they might be sourced.
Your task, on the night, is to enjoy the wines, decide which they might be and their country of origin.

Remember that this is a Blind tasting, the bottles will be bagged and covered, so that you will not know which of the wines above you are tasting.
At the end of the evening, after the scoring, we will reveal the wines, their origin and their cost. There might be some discussion, but it should be interesting and informative.
